Aims

  • Education

To provide a home for therapists to unlearn oppressive beliefs, education and practices, as well as make conscious the systemic impacts of white supremacy through sharing skills, knowledge, and lived experiences.

  • Trauma Informed & Intersectional

To ground our approach within a trauma informed and intersectional framework, to understand and acknowledge the complex interplay of the dynamics of power, oppression and intersecting identities.

  • Challenge Harm

To use the power we hold within our privileged identities to hold our peers to account, discourage bystanderism, or complicit behaviour.

  • Re-distribution of Assets

To model an anti-capitalist practice through re-distribution of privileges and assets such as income, time, and education.

  • Support Groups

To offer caucus (break-out) spaces and support groups for therapists who form part of marginalised groups.

  • Community

To build a supportive community of like-minded therapists.
