Belonging to our bodies: A somatic healing space for QTIBIPOC+

This space is intentionally created for the QTIBIPOC+ community to pause, rest, grieve and feel supported whilst connecting to our bodies during collective heartbreak and loss.

We will be exploring body-based practices such as guided breath-work, somatic experiencing and restorative yoga. There is no end goal from these practices and you are encouraged to be curious about what is happening in your body.

Give yourself permission to be with and connect to the wisdom of the sensations and emotions in your body. This space is trauma conscious and invitational - you can choose whether to try the practices offered. These sessions are facilitated by ayebainemi ese.

ayebainemi ese (they/them) is a queer, trans, nigerian spirit and crybaby :’) who cherishes nature, playfulness, creativity, and embodied movement. they facilitate trauma-conscious rest portals for the QTIBIPOC+ community using somatic tools such as yoga, guided breath-work and embodied movement to cultivate curiosity and awareness about our bodies and honour our innate ancestral wisdom.
