In this online workshop facilitated by Alex Iantaffi and Meg-John Barker we’ll be exploring the themes of self-care and collective care through somatic grounding, self-reflective prompts, group discussion, and an invitation to connect with the world around us.
We will think and feel together about the ways in which our capacity for self and collective care are closed down and/or opened up by the systems and structures we are embedded in.
You will be invited to explore how we are deeply connected with the natural world and the ways in which ongoing colonialism and white supremacy can prevent us from knowing this connection. We will also explore what it means to have stewardship in ourselves and in community.
Please come prepared to reflect on, and share, your own experiences in ways that feel comfortable and consensual for you as this will be an interactive and co-created space.
This workshop is co-facilitated by Alex Iantaffi and Meg-John Barker, and chaired by Sage M Stephanou. Please note that tickets are limited to 20 and spaces will be prioritised for RTN Members first.
